Description: READ THIS FIRST BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS: people are asking me the same questions over and over, so reading this should help answer a lot of the generic ones. Still, I appreciate the comments/views and stuff, don't get me wrong. #1 score on Xbox Live leaderboards as of this posting; I played around a little with effects on this one; the beginning few seconds i did a few effects, and at the point where I get 3 stars and activate star power, i do a few effects there too for fun/to keep people entertained. (my gamertag = sskitzzo) This is still with my shitty set; i'll be getting a new one shortly, hopefully, but there are noticable pad misses in this video. Only my 2nd time ever playing this also, so there's still room for improvement in that area too. By the way, if you want to know how to do the "notes on the screen" effect; There's a lot of tutorials on the web for this kind of stuff with After Effects, and the best site i've ever been to for them (which i visit frequently) is www.videocopilot.net ; they've got a ton of tutorials, and even a basic training series of videos for the After Effects beginner, and all of it's free. and no, i'm not getting paid to plug thier site, i really just reccomend it hahaha And yes, I play drums in real life, have been for 4+ years, so the people going on about "play a real instrument", no, sorry, I do play real drums. The tape is on my drums because the drums were faulty out of the box; the tape holds the pad closer to the sensor inside of it, which allows for more sensitive hits for the time being, until I get it replaced.

azuritereaction ::: Favorites  2007-11-23 00:35:37 yeah, my drumset is the bad model; thus the red and to a lesser extent, the rest of the drums are very unstable, the tape helps keep it sensitive, but it's only a temporary fix; i'm still sending in my kit __________________________________________________

The reason I hold them low on this set is because I need to get a LOT of power in each hit for the drumsticks to register. __________________________________________________
azuritereaction ::: Favorites  2007-11-23 02:38:28 2) When i'm playing these songs, i'm playing them on the fly; if you've ever played a music game, you'd know that even for someone skilled at them, having notes flying at you that you've never seen before, and then having to play them in real time, your performance looks a bit shaky. If you watched me playing Drummania, i look MUCH more fluid; go in my videos and look up "Slang". __________________________________________________

Thus again, i'm in unfamiliar territory with this extremely small drumset, with all of the drums compacted together; this again forces me to basically "re-learn" a lot of movements. __________________________________________________
azuritereaction ::: Favorites  2007-11-23 02:39:52 as i told the other guy, i don't have a video of me on my real drumset up (although it's in a ton of my other videos as background prop), but if you go in my videos and look up the video of me playing Slang on Drummania V4, it shows how I am with a song i'm more comfortable with (even though it was only about my 10th time playing it). __________________________________________________
