We celebrate Christmas for the food, New Year for the drink, Lent to disguise anorexia (joking) Bla bla bla, school holidays, off work, you get my point. But I was always interested in the bible because of the stories, and the niceties, and when I went to Bible Club we got free chocolate biscuits and fizzy juice and sing catchy tunes. The books are numerous, just do a search for cult religions. Science OF the Bible is what you are looking for.
