Description:
Kansas with John Elefante....the singer who replaced Steve Walsh and the singer who everyone loved to hate. BUT....he was a good singer. |

shire2005 ::: Favorites I'm a huge walsh fan but this is also excellent and yes he is pitch perfect.. 07-05-11 15:52:12 _____________________________________________________
akaia89 ::: Favorites omg, i love KANSAS but Ive never heard this song before...and it is so good! wow, i love three pretenders and point of know return...good stuff! 07-05-19 07:46:16 _____________________________________________________
PaulC39 ::: Favorites Always liked Vinyl Confessions with John Elefante and saw the tour in 82' in Miami. Steve Walsh has great voice too and he is the original singer. Both are very good. 07-06-21 23:24:32 _____________________________________________________
Panchoroy ::: Favorites Look Elefante loves, if Walsh would have stayed Vinyl Confessions would have been Kansas' greatest album ever. With Puff it was an ok Album with some ok songs, not real deal Kansas. And the Drastic Measures Album is the worst I ever heard, mainly Cause of him, and no Steinhart 07-07-07 22:16:06 _____________________________________________________
onyxgarden ::: Favorites what a great song ! 07-07-11 10:57:23 _____________________________________________________
rickyon ::: Favorites Look Elefante haters,if Walsh had stayed Vinyl Confessions would have been something else entirely! Probably a kickass album needless to say but totally different. Why must you spend so much time trolling the Tube to bash Elefante? I never see you on the Walsh Kansas posts complimenting him or the bands efforts there! I guess I shouldn't feed the troll but this guy makes me sick! 07-07-21 23:25:00 _____________________________________________________
JonWRowe ::: Favorites "[I]f Walsh had stayed Vinyl Confessions would have been something else entirely! Probably a kickass album needless to say but totally different." There is a site called Kansas Depot which has some out-takes of Walsh signing a few Vinyl Confessions songs. The quality isn't so good. But Walsh sounds great on them. 07-07-31 16:48:14 _____________________________________________________
rickyon ::: Favorites Elefante was involved in writing 5 of the songs on that album and 3 of them with his brother and noone in the band so half of the album would have been different. 07-07-31 21:04:04 _____________________________________________________
rickyon ::: Favorites By the way thanks for the heads up on the Depot site! I checked out what you were referring to and found the site very informative and interesting! Thanks again! 07-07-31 21:06:53 _____________________________________________________
mogorepgrrr ::: Favorites To quote Kerry, 'it's all just dust in the wind'. The comments on the two singers is worthless. Walsh is Walsh and Elefante is Elefante. The lyrics were changing for the band and John filled in right for that time. These guys put their pants on the same as we do, no greater than us. I believe Kerry found the Truth and now is continuing the musical side with Proto-Kaw. As for Drastic Measures, might not be a great album, but it suited them for that time. Relax. 07-08-07 11:11:58 _____________________________________________________ |
