krishan25 2008-03-04 19:57:13 Hi im a flight attendant. Its for safety. Basically hopefully not sounding too morbid, but during take off or landing if the plane suddenly drops out of sky or crashes, the cabin crew will each run through the cabin usually the first 25 rows to assess the outside situation before opening the emergency exits. Its basically to reduce fatalities and to work out what engine if any are on fire and whats the safest route of escape as not all exits can be opened. Hope that helps. __________________________________________________ | |
