produKtNZ ::: Favorites 2007-11-01 06:34:58 Well for when i get mine, i will probably idle the first tank away, then run the next tank slightly rich pretty much just to get everything oiled up nice in its wee crankcase. Then I'd clean the sparkplug I've just fouled up with oil, and then just go nuts :P As far as care for you brand new engine is concerned, i think that may be the best way. personal opinions tho :) __________________________________________________
traxxastmaxx33 ::: Favorites 2007-11-01 05:50:20 yer same but i would drive mine a little slow for a couple tanks.... when i get one __________________________________________________
produKtNZ ::: Favorites 2007-11-01 04:24:21 I've heard that they don't require running in... not advice that sits well with me tho __________________________________________________
produKtNZ ::: Favorites 2007-11-01 04:23:12 "MrHairyNutz' - imo the same applies when storing any gasoline engine - Drain entirely of fuel and add a few drops of oil directly into the cylinder bore and rotate 2 full rotations. That's just standard winter storage advice but its probably advice more suited to new zealand where i live. Maybe in warmer climates you wont need to drain the fuel etc, not sure about this bit tho :). Hope this helps (since no-one bothered to answer your well written question :S) __________________________________________________

MrHairyNutz ::: Favorites 2007-08-04 10:13:22 I have some questions: Let's say you wanna put it away for the winter would you suggest running it tell the gas is gone or can it have it in there for 6 months? And i was wondering do you have shops in utah that sells it as well as the parts? __________________________________________________ |
