Description:

The X'EYE is a SEGA GENESIS clone made by JVC in 1993. It plays SEGA CD games, SEGA GENESIS cartridges, CD+G discs, and has a microphone input for Karaoke. This movie repeats until you put a CD into the drive. The black plastic case is very sleek and futuristic looking.

That's actually really cool, I guess the only real advantages of a CDX are it's size and how you can use it as a portable CD player.

I haven't tried a CDX, so I don't know much about it... But another cool feature of the X'EYE is the CD player controls... When you are playing a music CD in it, you can loop any part you want, (kinda like a sampler) using one of the Fire Buttons. You push it once for the start point, then again for the end point, and it will repeat that segment of the CD until you push the button again. Handy for learning guitar solos or certain parts of songs...

That's cool, it's the same music as the European and Japanese MegaCD bios. I'm thinking about either getting an X'EYE or a CDX, which one would you recomend?
